"The Good Thief" …The painting was begun on a Good Friday.  I wanted to envision the crucifixion scene from up on the cross.  However, I felt truly unworthy to attempt to view the scene through Jesus eyes,…only just grateful for the opportunity to look "into" Jesus eyes and ask for forgiveness, through the eyes of The Good Thief, for my part of His suffering.
